Transporting Firearms in Wyoming
The laws governing the legal use, storage and carrying of firearms are constantly changing. Below are the applicable laws in the State of Wyoming as of 3/10/15. 1. Any person who can legally own a firearm can transport a firearm loaded or unloaded in their vehicle as long as the weapons are not concealed.
2. Any non-Wyoming resident can transport a concealed firearm loaded or unloaded in their vehicle as long as they are in possession of a Concealed Weapons Permit/License issued by a state that Wyoming honors.
3.Wyoming residents who can legally own a firearm can transport a firearm loaded or unloaded in their vehicle without holding a Concealed Carry Permit issued by the state of Wyoming.
